NSPA buys equipment, support and services for NATO nations and NATO bodies, often as the contracting agency for multinational programmes. It contracts under its own procurement regulations rather than national law or the EU directives. Only companies registered in its Source File can be invited to tender, and some procedures need a declaration of eligibility from the company's national authorities.
